Rome, Italy | Museo Nazionale Preistorico Etnografico "Luigi Pigorini"


 

The Museo Pigorini is going on organizing events inside the project READ ME (Réseau européen des Associations de Diasporas&Musées d'Ethnographie), a participative museographical project aimed to build a network between ethnographical museums and associations working on diaspora.

The READ ME Project started in 2007, in collaboration with the Musée Royal de l’Afrique Centrale in Tervuren (Bruxelles), the Musée du Quai Branly in Parigi and the Museum für Völkerkunde in Vienna.

In the framework of this project the Museo Pigorini will host the exhibition "[S]oggetti migranti" from 22nd September 2012 till 2nd april 2013.
The museum is launching now an open call for Installations / Performances / discussions, to collect material that would be part of the exhibition.

"IDEE MIGRANTI,  Concorso per Installazioni / Performances / Incontri". The deadline is 15th July 2012.
