Jamie Gilham is Senior Research Manager at the Royal College of Art, where he oversees major research projects including the College’s MeLa WP. He supports and advises on research College-wide, specifically staff research and the Research Excellence Framework 2014, and is a member of the RCA Research Committee, REF Working Group and International Strategy Group.

He is also a historian whose research focuses on the modern history and politics of Islam and Muslims in Britain and the West. His forthcoming book is Loyal Enemies: British Converts to Islam, 1850s-1950s (London/New York: Hurst/OUP, 2013).
